Generate images in chat with DALL-E 3 and Stable Diffusion.

Get a StabilityAI key from your StabilityAI account's API keys page - the tool's Get API Key link takes you there.

Set up a generator

The generators come pre-installed and show Setup required until you add a key.

  1. Open Tools in the left icon bar, then Installed → Tools.
  2. Click the generator's settings (gear) button.
  3. Paste the required API key and save. The key is stored on your device.

Create an image

  1. In a chat, type ! or click Tools, and pick the generator.
  2. Describe what you want. Be specific about subject, style, lighting and composition:

  1. Send. The image appears in the reply - click it to view it full size or save it.

Tips for better images

  • Mention the style (photo, watercolour, 3D render, flat illustration).
  • Describe the framing (close-up, wide shot, top-down).
  • Ask for changes in a follow-up: "Same scene, but at night."
